Designing business software that people keep using

Useful business software starts with the rhythm of the team. Before picking screens or features, I look for the repeated decisions, the handoffs, and the places where people are already keeping their own side system.

A product keeps being used when it respects pressure. It should load quickly, recover from mistakes, and make future changes possible without turning the whole system fragile.
